Summary: M-21 instructs the puppy.
Notes: Thought this wouldn't be over 100 words as usual.

Genre: Family
Word count: 302
Status: Complete
M-21 crouched next to the puppy (not really anymore; it had been a couple of months since Raizel-nim had adopted him, but everyone called him that out of habit even when he could now get his paws up onto their shoulders when they were standing) and then glanced at Tao and Gejutel, who were standing off to the side and watching them both.
Did he have to-? Of course he did.
M-21 brought his attention back to the puppy, and the puppy perked up, his tail wagging hard enough to almost dislodge him from his sitting position. Almost, but not quite.
“Stand,” M-21 said, and ears pricked, the puppy did as he was told.
“Spin.” This time the puppy’s tail nearly caught M-21 in the face before he ducked out the way.
Each command was done with no problems (even the backflip one, and M-21 still wondered how the hell the puppy even did that), and then it was the last two commands.
He paused, and the puppy cocked his head at him, knowing they weren’t done yet. Just two more.
“Kiss,” M-21 said. The puppy tensed for a second as he worked out the new command and then lunged at his face, giving him a solid lick that almost went from M-21′s chin to his eyes.
M-21 opened his arms. “…Huggies.” The puppy bounded into him, curling his neck around M-21′s.
“See?” Tao said, beaming at Gejutel. “Still perfectly trained.”
Him or the puppy? “Good boy,” M-21 murmured, stroking the puppy down his back. The last two commands had been Tao’s suggestion, to see if the puppy could still understand more casual words.
But he was going to have to find a way to explain to the puppy to not chew on the nobles’ slippers, no matter how good they smelled.
