Alex frowned as he watched his sister sleep. Dana was shivering, a tiny tremor that went through her body and it didn't look like it was going to stop any time soon. Alex didn't feel cold, but she obvious did, a small plume of breath escaping her mouth.

Now that he thought about it, the apartment had been quieter than usual when he'd entered, but he'd been distracted by the murmuring in his head, the screams of people he'd just killed. Alex was still trying to sort their memories into some sort of order, finding information he could use.

So, the heating was gone? The Infected must have overrun Steam Operations.

Alex stood up, getting ready to leave again when he hesitated, glancing back at Dana. He walked over to her side, and pulled her blanket up, making sure she was covered. That done, Alex left to see if he could get the power back before she woke up.

Even if Dana'd fallen asleep on him, Alex would have still extracted himself as soon as she was to go fix the problem. XDD Damn.
