“Tao, it keeps biting your fingers.”

“Yeah, but-” Tao whisked his finger away from another snap. “-they’re so small they don’t even break the skin!”

The little silver dragon glowered at him, hissing.

“Who’s still trying to bite you,” Takeo pointed out. “It’ll make a difference when its fangs are the size of your hand.”

“Then we’ll just have to make sure they don’t want to bite people before then.” Still cooing, Tao headed for the kitchen, mulling over what they were going to feed the tiny dragon.
