Summary: [Drabble] "It converts a ghost's natural ecto energy into a constantly replenishing fuel source." "Does it hurt the ghost? " "Oh, Jazz. You know your father and I don't care about that." They weren't being unkind. They were protecting themselves.

Genre: General
Word count: 100
Status: Complete
They weren't dead people. They were manifestations of ectoplasmic energy and post-human consciousness.
The ghosts were warped versions of what they used to be like when they were human. There was nothing there in that glowing energy that was human. They were merely echoes.
They were helping them, really. They were sending that last part to the afterlife while also saving the residents of Amity Park of danger.
The ghosts weren't made of flesh. They weren't truly hurt by the weapons that were used against them. They were pretending, acting out what they thought they knew.
They were merely energy.
