Summary: There is one thing we don't see about M-21's recovery period...

Notes: So I'm recovering from mosquito bites. And then getting more once the old ones have healed. It has made me realise something.
I feel like I'm forsaking characterisation for the sake of humour. D: Either that or I'm stretching the characters out of their usual roles. Ish. And on the third hand, better reactions! Aaaaanyway.

The hum of the scanner died, and M-21 waited not so patiently to finish sliding out of the machine.
As soon as he was allowed to move again, M-21 got off the table and instantly started scratching at his scabs. His skin burned but it was worth that brief second of respite.
"Your wounds are healing w..."
M-21 paused and glanced up at Frankenstein, feeling much like a person caught in the act of doing something very, very wrong. Frankenstein's smile was frozen, his gaze fixed on M-21's now open wounds. M-21's hands dropped away from it.
"You could have asked for cream," Frankenstein said lightly, only a small tremour in his shoulders betraying his thoughts. "I wouldn't want you to scar if you kept picking."
He hadn't known that there was something that could help with the irritation. Though, this was Frankenstein – he had probably created it himself.
Frankenstein hummed, his smile stretching. "If I catch you scratching again, I'll be tying your hands together to make sure you won't be able to until you are fully healed," he continued, his voice not changing in the slightest. "And I'll put a cone on you to make sure."
M-21 didn't know what Frankenstein meant by a 'cone', but the next time the itchiness flared up, M-21's hands didn't go near it.

XDDDDDDDD dog comparisons! It's probably for the best that M-21 didn't get it, because the last time someone made a dog comparison he wasn't happy...

It'd probably depend on how many times he's reopened his wounds. I'd have said something about how deep his wounds were but since he's had a complete through and through, that doesn't matter. XDD I want to know how nobles heal now, since Keye had quite a number of scars on him...
