Earth peered around the corridor, making sure no-one else was there and undid Storm's lock (it was a weak thing that had probably never worked since the first Storm Knight, but if it had, consequent workaholic Storm Knights meant other Knights kept breaking into their room anyway) and snuck in. He had a sheaf of paperwork in his hands and he'd been too busy as of late to be able to foist it onto Storm.

He had taken two steps in when he realised the room wasn't as empty as he thought, deep breathing filling what should have been silence. Crap! Earth peered at Storm's bed, checking to see how close Storm was to waking – his jaw hung open when he saw who was in Storm's bed.

Or maybe he should say what because it was a woman in Storm's bed and Earth wondered how that had happened. She had to be the one who had dragged Storm to bed, stammering and his face beet red. One arm was flung above her head, her face tilted towards him. Earth took a moment to appreciate her…blue hair?

Wait a minute.

Unbidden, Earth's feet took him closer and he froze when the woman's face scrunched up, her (oh please oh please be a her) eyebrows creasing. She blearily opened her eyes (she had dark bags under her eyes, Earth finally saw, and his stomach sank), her green eyes.

"Earth?" she sighed as she sat up, running a hand through her hair. "If you're going to give me more paperwork, you know where my pile is."

There was only one person who would say that. "Storm?" He did not squeak – his voice was just higher than normal.

"Huh?" Storm only blinked blearily at him, raising a hand to cover a yawn.

Not saying anything, Earth very pointedly stared at Storm's obvious chest.

Following his eyes, Storm glanced down. And then froze. "What did you do?" Storm shrieked, his – her – his voice far higher than Earth could have predicted.

"Me?" he bellowed in disbelief. "Why do you think I had anything to do with this?"

Storm's entire face was red as he flailed. "Because I woke up like this with you in the room!"

Earth made a strangled sound. "I didn't – why would I-" he spluttered before throwing his hands up in the air. He slapped his paperwork into Storm's teetering pile and practically ran out the room. He was asleep and dreaming and obviously he was going to wake up soon and Storm would be back to being male – would have never been female.

Now to find out what to do to wake himself up…
