The human standing in front of Lord was not what he had expected – the human had single-handedly killed both mutants and nobles, as well as holding his own against Gejutel and Ragar; Lord had expected the human to be bulky, heavily muscled to have been able to do such feats, yet the human was almost slim in comparison. No scars marred his skin, and he gave no outward appearance when walking up to him that he had just battled two Clan Leaders at the same time a mere two days ago. The human's blond hair hung loose around his shoulders.

In other words, he was the kind of attractive male that Lord wanted to keep away from Raskreia.

"You won't tell me your name?" Lord asked, smiling at the direction their conversation was already going when it had barely even started.

"Why do you need it?" the human said, glaring, his lips a shade away from baring his teeth. "You said you were going to 'decide my fate', so decide already. No wonder you can't monitor your nobles if you're this indecisive."

Lord's smile widened. It had been a very long time since anyone other than Cadis Etrama Di Raizel had disagreed with him so boldy, and even Cadis Etrama Di Raizel wasn't as vehement. It was refreshing.

"I need to call you something," Lord said lazily, watching the human from his throne. "Since you won't tell me, I'll just have to make one up for you." Hmm, but what to call him… He wanted something appropriate, and if the only thing he could use was the human's appearance or his personality…

The human didn't object, lifting his chin in a gesture of defiance.

"Ahaha, I'll call you 'Peacock', then," he said – and he had to stop himself from grinning outright when he saw the outraged expression on the human's face.

"Frankenstein," the human ground out.

"Peacock," Lord replied mildly.

He heard Cadis Etrama Di Raizel sigh beside the human, and really, that made Lord's decision even easier. Now, if he could convince the human to continue staying with Cadis Etrama Di Raizel and converse with him, it would ease some of Lord's worry about him.

Written for [personal profile] cryselda on my prompt post, asking for how the previous Lord started calling Frankenstein 'Peacock'.

Will totally be jossed when we finally get to see it, but ah well. (I'd also wanted their first meeting to be when Frankenstein challenged him to a fight, but it didn't quite work out. XD;;;)
