Fandom: Noblesse
Summary: When Cadis Etrama Di Raizel woke up after hibernating, he knew where to go.
Rating: G
Notes: Set in the first two chapters.
So I started re-reading Noblesse. I barely got five chapters in before I got attacked by a plotbunny. orz
Genre: General
Word count: 264
Status: Complete
It was bright outside. Warm, but also cool, a breeze blowing past. It was strange, seeing how many humans surrounded him, how tall their buildings were, and as Cadis Etrama Di Raizel walked, he slowly started picking up their language, small phrases and words that didn't make sense, but they would eventually.
Nothing was recognisable – not the sounds, not the smells, not what he could see. It (the 'city'?) was far louder than Lukedonia had ever been, yet no-one seemed to find that strange, or were too startled when a…'car' went past.
Their clothes were interesting. Some humans wore bright clothes, while others wore clothes that were reminiscent to what was worn in Lukedonia. It was the children in the white coats and blue shirts that had drawn Cadis Etrama Di Raizel's attention though, something that looked familiar, even though he'd never seen it before. He'd chosen to change his clothes to those ones for that reason.
There was one thing that he was sure of, however, and he continued walking towards it. He had felt Frankenstein's presence in the city as soon as he had opened his eyes, distant, but familiar to him. It was different, though not quite like how the humans had changed – Frankenstein's aura was muted, less prickly, with less of a hard edge to it. Frankenstein also hadn't noticed him, which surprised Cadis Etrama Di Raizel a little bit, and he wondered how long he had been hibernating for Frankenstein to stop being so observant.
That would be one of his questions to him, once he met Frankenstein again.
