Urgf, Tao had finished work for the day. Night? It was dark outside anyway. He was bone tired but he didn't want to go to bed, not without seeing someone first, craving contact.
Takeo's room was closest to his and Tao walked in.
Oh.
Tao's ears folded at the empty room. Damn, Takeo must have gone out.
Tao would have gone to his own room but his eyes had seen the bed. And it was a bed. It existed to be slept on.
The bed had been washed though, the lack of scent coming from it telling Tao. But he spied Takeo's suit hung over a wardrobe handle and that would have to do. He took it, placed it on the bed and curled up on top of it, breathing in Takeo's scent.
He purred at the familiarity and stretched, pawing at the blanket.
Three deep breaths later, he conked out.

The shopping hadn't taken Takeo long and packing it away had taken less time thank to Regis' helping hand.
All that was left was to go to bed and-
There was someone sleeping on his bed. And Takeo was sure that was a reference to something but he couldn't place what. It didn't matter at the moment.
"Hey," he murmured, placing a hand on Tao's shoulder, giving him a small shake.
All Tao did was grumble and bat at his hand, half-formed claws not breaking his skin. He stretched, settling into a position that made Tao look like he didn't have a spine and only a third of the bones a human was supposed to have and Takeo sighed. At no point did Tao open his eyes.
Tao wasn't going to wake up.
There was enough space in the bed for both of them and after changing into his nightclothes, Takeo lay down next to him. Like the self-proclaimed hug monster he said he was, Tao turned towards him, nuzzling his chest.
Takeo wrapped an arm around him, feeling Tao settle, and went to sleep himself.
