M-21 listened to Tao hum after the other man had finished painting his nails on one hand. His eyes narrowed when Tao screwed the bottle shut and didn’t open it again.

"Tao," M-21 said, an eyebrow raised just as Tao was packing his stuff away.

"Mmhm?" Tao didn’t look up, but M-21 could see one corner of his lips twitching.

"My other hand."

"Eeh?" Tao’s eyes were wide behind his hair. "What do you mean?"

"I’m not walking around with just one hand done," M-21 said, putting his unpainted hand in between them.

"Are ya sure?" Tao said, grinning, opening his nail polish bag again. "I think the children would dig it. They might even start emulating your look."

"Just do my other hand, Tao."

"Fine, fine. A matching set of nails, coming right up-!"
