M-21 has always been angry. Angry that the Union has ripped everything from him, his memories, his humanity. Angry that after everything they've done to him, he still had to listen and do whatever they'd ordered. Angry at his own weakness.

But...

It's after Raizel-nim awakens him, awakens the power within him -makes him strong for that fleeting moment- that he realises something.

The anger he's felt all these years...

It's getting stronger.

And it isn't his.

He can feel it now, the wolf prowling at the back of his mind, angry at being caged for so long. Angry at being shoved back into the cage after the awakening. The door had finally been opened, and the lock is no longer as secure as it used to be.

It attacks him in his dreams, trying to destroy him so it can take over his body and be free to do whatever it wants.

The origin of his power isn't to be taken lightly. He knows that now, can feel it as it sinks its claws into him, carving his skull out chunk by chunk.

The power that had helped him, that had finally made him strong...

It's going to kill him.
