M-21 frowned, not opening his eyes when he heard his bedroom door open. Tao. Safe. But why-

He hissed when Tao climbed into his bed and pressed his cold nose to his shoulder, Tao’s arms snaking around him.

He snapped his eyes open, not that it mattered when all he could see was Tao’s hair. “You’re freezing!”

“Exactly!” Tao buried his face deeper into M-21′s shoulder. “I was downstairs so my room’s cold.”

“You want me to call Takeo so he can help warm you up too?” M-21 grumbled, rolling his eyes.

He frowned when Tao didn’t respond straight away, his muscles tensing for a second instead.

“…Yes.”

“Fine.” He reached over to his bedside table to get his phone. He wouldn’t ask why Tao wanted company tonight; sometimes talking about what was bothering them helped, while other times, all they needed was just to know was they weren’t alone.

So I woke up with a cold nose, and then related it to Noblesse. Because that's what I do with everything.
