Muzaka jumped from rooftop to rooftop as he entered the city, looking at the lights in the distance. It had been a while since he'd last visited Raizel, and he was a little worried.
He paused at one rooftop, nostrils flaring at a familiar scent. It was the human that smelled like a werewolf, the one that hung out around Raizel. Huh, what was he doing here?
Muzaka looked around, but didn't see anything. He wandered around, scenting the air, and-
One corner of his mouth curled up as he noticed the scuff on the rooftop.
"Marking your territory, hn?" he murmured. It wasn't something he'd done when he was the Lord, but they'd lived on an island that no humans could reach anyway, and it wasn't like he spent that much time there to keep track of who entered or left.
He huffed, the other side of his mouth curling up. The act reminded him of some of the 'hiding spots' some of the younger cubs made for themselves to get away from the adults. They'd scent marked out of instinct, which made them that easier to find. Not that they'd been told that — the cubs hadn't been bothering anyone doing that, so they'd been left to have their fun.
Well, he was only going in and then straight out again after checking on Raizel. It would be a five minute trip and then he'd be out again.
He wouldn't be intruding for long. Muzaka leaped past the marking, heading for the last place he'd seen Raizel.
