It had rained during the night, so his plants wouldn’t need watered, but Frankenstein went to his garden to check if he needed to get rid of some pests.

He paused, seeing someone walking through his garden.

Tall, black hair and clothed in black as well, the man was gazing at Frankenstein’s newly sprouted plants, studying them. How had the man found this place? Frankenstein’s house was in the middle of a forest, as far away from others as he could. He didn’t want anyone else getting dragged into what he was doing.

The man’s skin was pale, almost like it had never seen the sun before, and Frankenstein straightened, seeing the blood red eyes in stark contrast to that.

The man was a noble.

The ‘man’ was a noble.

Frankenstein gritted his teeth, tightening his hold on his bucket as he strode over. One of the so called benevolent gods was walking around his garden, the very garden he’d built in the hopes of undoing everything the nobles had caused.

He’d gone to check if his garden had pests, and while he was only armed with a bucket, he was going to make sure he got rid of the one standing right in the middle of his garden.
