M-21 was already turning around when he heard the swish of something flying in the air.

“Catch!”

His hand snapped up, catching the -he squeezed slightly- ball of paper? He turned his hand over and read ‘Open me!!!’ scribbled over it.

Shooting Tao a dry look, he unfurled the paper, Tao’s footsteps getting closer to him.

[If you’re reading this, it’s too late.]

M-21 frowned, his mind racing. A warning? Tao wouldn’t send it by paper.

[They’re coming. There’s nothing you can do to st-]

Tao leaped at M-21 and M-21 stretched out his arms, catching him.

Tao snickered at him, wrapping around M-21 and settling his head against M-21′s shoulder.

[-op it. I’ve already sent good vibes your way.]

“Thought you might need it.”

“Hm.” With a sigh, M-21 returned Tao’s hug, pocketing the note to keep in his room later. “Thanks.”
