Elle knew she was a restless sleeper; when she stayed with other sisters, they always told her that. Not that she hadn't figured that out herself - she still couldn't figure out how her pillow had once ended up on the other side of the room.

It was never a good idea for her to sleep next to a wall.

The first time Elle and Kili slept next to each other, she thought that the bruise might have been from Kili accidentally hitting himself during the night.

The second time, she realised that his new bruise was on the side she slept on. She was a restless sleeper, but wouldn't she have woken up from getting suddenly pulled across the bed? Or, maybe it was because she was a restless sleeper that she didn't notice?

Elle was relieved when she saw the screen that Kili had built between their beds - it would mean they wouldn't wake up in possibly mortifying positions, and it definitely helped with their privacy.

The next morning, they both had bruises on their hands.

And the rest of Elle was also covered in bruises since she kept on hitting the board, and Kili still didn't get a wink of sleep, because of the noise she was making. ;p

Yay, you wrote Double Arts after all. <3 I reread the first few chapters and poor Kiri's bruise really struck me when they first had to sleep next to each other. XD; She never found out why, did she?

D: The bruise looks huge! The one after the third night looks even bigger. Ahaha, the downside of Flare while sleeping.

Unless Kili/Kiri (D:) told her in between scenes, I don't think so. She was fairly oblivious when he made the screen. XD
