Notes: I'm never doing a drabble again. They're so hard to do! And I'm pretty sure that this makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. I'm pretty sure the terminology is all screwed up as well.

Iodem was wandering Altmiller cave as Babi used to in the days when he was alive. The shadows were long as he moved through them.

Why he was doing it, he wasn’t sure. Maybe he needed a walk. Maybe he was reminiscing. Maybe –

Iodem paused as he heard something move behind him. Was that a shuffle of stones underfoot?

Turning around, he saw that there was a Dread Hound behind him.

It crouched down low and leaped.

When it was nearly upon him, a spire fell from the roof and killed it.

Iodem ran without looking back or wondering how.
