(1) Somatic fusion: Biology jargon. It’s what you use to overcome sexual incompatibility between two different plant species. Basically, that means it’s used to breed two plants together that wouldn’t normally to create a totally new plant, which has parts of both the parents in it.

(2) Ack. Hopefully I’m right on this one. I’m pretty sure that’s what they’re called. A protoplast is what a cell is called when it’s been stripped of it’s cell membrane/wall and been fused with another cell. Or it’s just the first part and not the second part (being fused with another cell). I can’t seem to find my notes on this at the moment.

The Ssu Ling are basically four guardian beasts in Chinese mythology that correspond to the dragon, phoenix, tiger and chimera. Just so you know, Suzaku is Dranzer and Byakko is Driger. I'm not saying that Driger is stronger than Dranzer in this fic (Dranzer is my fav bitbeast) but acording to my research on the 'net, Byakko is basically the god of war. So definitely something that Lord Voldemort would be interested in.

Notes: Post-The Lost Age. Post-Boktai 2. Black Django is a Vampire while Red Django isn't. A Crimson Monster is a monster that is a really strong monster; it's about four times stronger than the regular ones.
In Boktai, if you die you can give money (or Soll)so that you can start the dungeon again in the same room that you died and so all the puzzle solving you did isn't all wasted. The person who you give the Soll to is Doomy.
Hopefully Django will explain everything else for me.
